Re: Pinworm saga continues

Ya, it's awful the way the medical profession treats us bug bags! How totally stupid, arrogant, ignorant, inconsiderate, unprofessional and uncaring! Did I miss anything?

This is the best info from ICU for getting rid of these critters //www.curezone.org/forums/fm.asp?i=1564827#i

As if it's not bad enough to have worms crawling on and thru my privates, I had an awful allergic reaction and had what I call INSANE itching. My poor butt was oozing lymph and the whole area was covered in 'bites' that looked like a mosquito bite. Anti-itch cream was the only topical cream that gave me some relief and I had to take tons of anti-histamines. At one point I was taking 2 Reactine and 5 or 6 Benadryl a day to cut the allergic reaction.

What also helped a great deal was to stop using toilet paper. I think wiping just spreads the eggs and their glue (for adhering the eggs to the skin). I use a hand held shower head to wash with. If the hose isn't long enough, squat over the bath tub. Either that or take a jug of warm water to wash with. I wash 3 or 4 times a day depending on the activity and my allergic reaction. For me keeping the allergic reaction is key to at least getting some sleep.

A couple of months ago I took Vermox twice a day for 12 days, then off for a week or 2 (I forget now) then on for another week. Unfortunately there was no change what so ever. I certainly hope that you have better luck!

How long are you taking the Vermox?
