No problem to let you know what works for me.

I tried oil of oregano and that seemed to slow them down the most of all the things I tried. I mixed a few drops with some anti-itch cream. Seems to me that if they don't like something, they stay inside for a day, then they get used to it, or get desperate enough to come out anyway.

I find it interesting that you didn't have much in the way of symptoms until you tried to get rid of them. Similar thing happened to me. I was not aware of any symptoms, no anal itching at all but thought I'd try a zapper just because they are supposed to be good. After a few days of zapping, all hell broke loose! For the first time, I could feel them crawling out my butt and saw dead ones on the wiper I used and I've had a huge battle ever since.

Mine don't look like the photos either! This is interesting too. I'm glad you mentioned this! Mine are chunkier and more substantial that the photos I've seen. When they are dead they are thicker on one end than the other.
