Re: Mirena Coil and Bladder Problems

I haven't experienced leaking since having Mirena for about six months now, but do have really painful bladder spasms and symptoms that seem similar to Interstitial Cystitis (spelling), been really awful. Ob/gyn didn't seem too concerned when I voiced my concern about having pain after sex sometimes, and when I went to a urologist was just given samples of a medicine for urgency & pyridium for pain.
Wanting to get this IUD OUT now b/c I want the pain to stop, my belly is swollen and it feels like my bladder/abdomen is super irritated.
I'm glad I found this forum, I was questioning my sanity for a bit. Tweet
