I'm 47. I have read on this site and others about women suffering hot flushes after removal.I'd never had anything like it before I had the Mirena. I don't mind going through the menopause, if that's what it is, because I have three teenagers and we don't want any more kids. But for many women it would be terrible if they havent finished adding to their family.
