Period after removal of mirena

I have posted before its been about a month and a half since I had my mirena taken out. I was on my period right up till the day I got it out. Then I bled the next day from the removal and that was that. Now I'm late by just about 2 weeks is this normal? If I dont have one by this friday I will get a home preg test. But was just wondering is this a normal side effect from mirena. I had mirena for only 6 months and after the first 3 months of non stop bleeding I had normal periods.
