1. I would have a professional air sampling sent to P&K labs for mold analysis; and
2. I would go to a toxicologist who specialises in mold exposures and get my blood tested for mold antibodies *and* do dna probing for toxic molds.
3. I would take a trip away from the home and make careful notes as to whether not it improved my health, or if I felt any better after being out of the house for a couple of weeks.
Environmental testing is not cheap but it can tell you a lot about what is going on.
How has the home effected your spouse or partner?
If the home is found to be causing you to be seriously ill, I agree with my toxicologist, it is simply not worth it to continue to live under those conditions. I'd move, in that event.
