Question about layered heads vs scolex

Hi

Whats the difference between a layered head and a scolex?? I did a lot of searching in this forum but I couldnt find an answer.

Every google result says the scolex IS the head. Is the layered head just a scolex but with "layers" as the name says? Sorry if this is a stupid question. I just thought it was strange that the blog has a separate scriipt for each.
