You are right. It is the Mirena. I too felt like I was 80 years old. My husband and I would frequently joke about it. I would run as often as I could and rarely was pain free doing it. I was so tired every day I felt like I could just put my head down and go to sleep anywhere. It was the worst part. I am almost 3 weeks post Mirena. I have more energy and don't have the desire to go to sleep anymore. I am not dizzy anymore (90% of the time), I am not achy anymore - Thank goodness. Brain fog is almost gone too. I hated feeling stupid, unable to do math in my head! My memory is 50 % better. I so look forward to being 100% one day. I had the Mirena for 3.5 years. So many hard times were due to this (lack of sex drive, thinking my thyroid was going whacky, lump in throat and dizziness all sent me to numerous doctors). The lump in throat resolved itself in the 3rd year. Allergy meds may have helped. i learned that I was super sensitive to all medicines and couldn't take decongestants or anti-depressants and no luck at all with weight loss pills. I was completely UNABLE to lose any weight. Get that thing OUT and GOOD LUCK. My husband will get the Vasectomy next week. Yeah. Fanny Tweet
