I think I may have my answer

thank you all for being open about your symptoms--all your comment have shed some light on my treacherous journey. I have gotten out of bed because I can't sleep due to terrible aches all over my body..and I decided to check whether my body aches could be due to Mirena. I have had Mirena for about two years now and it seems like the weird life/body changes I have been experiencing may be due to the Mirena. At least they resonate what you have all so bravely posted. I had no idea that my lack of sex drive and constant fatigue which started about two years ago could be due to the this. I remember telling my OB last year and got put on antidepressants which I stopped taking after three months because I saw no change. I was just in tears thinking that maybe I had something more chronic--lately I have had constant pain, I pull muscles almost daily and numbness in one side of my body along with major cramps--I actually thought I had a mild stroke due to my symptoms. I literally feel like my body has aged faster than fast. I am 35 in excellent health and used to be very athletic- I feel 80 years old.
After reading all your encounters with Mirena I will be calling the OB tomorrow morning and getting it removed ASAP. I have to start somewhere and I have a feeling this is my answer. I'll keep you posted. Tweet
