Re: Hypothyroid, low cortisol, dizziness, anxiety, fatigue, and shakiness
My dizziness is better when I'm at home, but when I drive or when I'm on the computer, it worsens. When I'm under stress, it worsens.
It started in November after they raised my levothyroxine to 100 mcg. After a week, I had severe dizziness and the shakes. I went back to my usual dosage of 88 mcg. The dizziness continued.
Also, I will mention that in November around the same time, a seven year relationship that I had was severed by me. I chose to break up with him. It was hard on me.
The shaking is bad, especially around lunch time. Sometimes, it's really bad at home or when I go out. Sometimes, when I first get up in the morning, I'm a little shakey, also.
The panic attacks and anxiety are severe. I feel like I'm going crazy. I try to keep them under control, but it's hard. I'm laid off and don't have health insurance and am currently going to a "Free Clinic". They sent me to an ENT for my dizziness and he said it wasn't an ear problem, but that if I wanted tests, like hearing or balance testing, I would have to pay for it.
I'll also mention that I was in a car accident 12/1/2008. I had whiplash. Two weeks after the accident, I got vertigo. It was really bad for about five months, so it is really complicated where this dizziness is coming from.
Thanks for your help. I really appreciate it.
