Re: Lab results

Believe it or not my lab result came back negative for pinworm\pinworm eggs. I was so shocked when the doctor told me this. I thought for sure that I saw one on my paddle specimen. I'm concerned that the Pin-X medicine I took the week prior, might have killed some but that I really did have the worms. I'm still worried that pinworm eggs might still be ready to hatch in my tummy and that the eggs might be in my environment. Also, i'm also distrustful of the lab workers. The lady at the front desk was so disgusted when I handed her my specimens. I wouldnt be surprised if she went threw them away for fear of getting the worms herself.

On a side note my doctor ran some blood test on me. One of the test suggested elevated levels of eosinophil-a type of white blood cell. When I google this, it states this can be caused by having a Tapeworm in your body. So I might actually have tapeworm. My doctor wants to run more test on me. I'm scared to suggest the Tapeworm thing, he probaly thinks i'm obsessed with parasites, but hey maybe this is what is causing my issues. Sanjean, I Will keep you posted! Glad to hear you are doing better.
