I've always wondered why the 21 day liver "cleanse" thing the ND gave me the directions for, has Cream of Tartar in it. This is the same recipe he gave me, but for 21 days, followed by a liver flush. If fungi is causing liver/bile duct problems, the cream of tartar probably helps with that.
