Re: Water Rentention/side effects after Mirena removal?

Hi!
I have had awful problems since the removal of the Mirena IUD. I thought that once I had the thing removed that I would be back to normal again. Unfortunately, I have had nothing but problems for 6 months so far! I have had a 16 pound weight gain in 6 months, more fatigue, severe PMS lasting three weeks, periods are all over the place, and more bloating in the stomach area than before! I do not know what to do, I feel completely out of control! The first two months after removal, I had such awful mood swings, at least that has tapered off some, though Depression is still there, but I think it is due to how crappy I feel! Before I had this awful contraption in, I had NONE of these problems, and now my system is completely out of whack! I just want to feel normal again, and do not know what to do! It has been six months! Anyone out there whom have had similar stories as us? When did you start feeling some relief & did you find use anything to help feel better?
