There is no need to thank me. That is why we are all here, to share and learn and if we can help someone that would be the cherry on the top :)

I called my Dad, he said

"look, all the machines you see on the internet, where do you think they get their power....do you see any coming with a battery charger? They all use adaptors...."

So that was his short answer to my question about how to fix the battery.

Then he said, the role of the adaptor is to make sure only 12V electrical current comes into whatever it is plugged in. So he said , just separate the two coils, strip them, connect each to one stainless steel whatever you have and voila, you have the foot bath.

Our adaptor was 1 amp, but some of the machines he saw in the internet are 1.5 amp.
