The pictures came from a Swiss surgical team - therefore they do not in anyway represent the objects passed by posters here.

Sneering is saying things like "pretending that you know what you are talking about". Since I have assisted at many lap cholys I do know what Gallstones look like. I cannot see these pictures clearly on my monitor but I suspect these different colours are due to an artefact of refraction.

Your remarks about saponification do not really clarify anything - so I would think about whether you are arguing or debating if I were you (although I think it's rather a false dichotomy).
