Saw an interesting episode on the history channel yesterday discussing the gospel accoring to Thomas. Apparently, it says pretty much the same thing, and one of the premises of the episode was that Jesus wanted us to be as close with the Father (or, if you prefer, Universe) as he was, and that going thru him (Jesus) was not the way to achieve that. Interesting, because it is so opposite of what trad. Christianity espouses, yet makes complete and utter sense to me. Tweet
