You make a very good point that I agree with.  Througout the millenia we have adapted to our food supply and I cannot buy the idea that we somehow stopped adapting 10,000 years ago.  I wholeheartedly agree that a diet which is close to paleo is a healthy one, but I don't believe you have to follow it absoloutely.

I like healthy grains (there are gluten free ones for those who have problems in that area), raw goats milk (people who have problems with cow dairy often do not with goats milk), free range eggs (yep, I eat them raw at times blended into the goats milk with some blackstrap molasses), and a very large variety of fruits and vegetables that are unlike what was available 10,000 years ago.
