Re: IMPORTANT: The SIDEEFFECTS of positive offset
Actually, the effects of positice offset are minimal.
At 0.25 volts positive offset, the bodies impedance is fairly high ( about 1000 ohms in many cases ) so that the baseline current is only about 250 microamperes.
This will result in an extremely small and basically insignificant transport of metals.
Additionally, if the user follows the logically safe instructions and uses paper towels wet with salt water, almost all copper or other metals will remain in the paper towels after the zapping is finished and should be disposed of.
When using salt water, it is mostly sodium that is transported to the skin as it is far more electro-motile than copper is.
Also, the electrolytic effect of zapping is extremely small and only becomes an issue when continuous zapping is used, small contacts are used, or excessivly high powered zappers are used.
It is good to note that at least some other zapper producers, such as MZAP, take care to insure your safety in the development and production of their products.
My strongest recommendations are quad contacts (3 positive, i negative), large contact area, use salt water soaked paper towels, start with the minimum 7-20-7-20-7 and increase over time.
My booklet "
parasite Zapping and the Zapper" is available at paradevices.com and contains 80 pages of information on how to get the most out of zapping as well as what to avoid (certain metals, etc).
