Gingivitis, Gum disease, Periodontitis is the cause of peeling lips
I believe gingivitis, gum disease, (periodontitis) is the cause of the peeling lips. I been to the dentist they have diagnosed me of periodontits (gum disease). Gum disease is the common connection for all of us and here is the reason why it makes sense. Your lips and gums are made up of mucous membrane. The entire mouth and checks are mucous membranes. Deep pockets under the gum line where bacteria breed and lysterine can't get to it. Bacteria toxins below the gum tissue that you can't see are breeding the infection. Yes, that’s the reason! There are 22 common types of toxin-producing bacteria that live in the nooks, crannies and crevices of your gums – in hard-to-reach places where most commercial mouth products can’t touch them. Even though our body normally replenishes our receding gum line with new cells in an attempt to naturally heal them, you will still have your gums recede if the toxins are eating away at your gums faster than your body can replace them.
Any infection of the gums can cause inflammation of the entire mucous membranes and lips. If you don’t floss every meal, food particles stuck between your teeth and gum lines will cause food decay. The food particles turn into plaque, gingivitis causing bacteria toxin and infection under the gums. If you have root canals, cavities, receding gum lines, those are indication of gum disease (inflammation of the mucous membranes and our lips). You have to brush, floss every meal. Swish with Listerine in your mouth for 10 minutes to kill the bacteria and toxins from the food you ate. The good news is there is home remedies to treat and reverse gum disease.
