Re: Please recommend a good Traditional Chinese Herbalist in southern California
Yes, her condition is severe but I appreciate your optimism though. She was hospitalized for 1 week in ICU because she had sepsis, bacteria in her blood and on her face, strep and staph, respectively. That was in December. Immediately after she was discharged and was given many bouts of
Antibiotics , steroid creams, OTC drugs, atarax, benadryl, Aquaphor, we stopped all of that craps. We began to use natural cream, such as Calendula, Neem, etc. It worked for a while, but she would subsequently scratch herself too much so we had to physically restraint her from doing that lest there would be another infection episode and we would have to return to ICU. ICU was the last thing my wife and I wanted to bring her for the rest of her life. I will do my very best to keep her away from any allopathic doctors if I can help it. Allopathic doctors are famous for palliate symptoms, not curing or healing patients completely. Actually, it makes perfect business sense. Why completely fix a broken car when you can continue to have repeated incomes coming in every other months until the client realizes that you are scamming him and decided to go somewhere else or to buy a new car to save himself/herself all of the aggravations and money. We are currently working with a homeopath. She's great simply because she had not done any harm to my daughter; she helped her a great deal when my daughter had severe fever by subscribing a few homeopathic medicines and silver biotics. My daughter recovered from the fever and avoided going back to the ICU. We consulted another allopathic doctor before we saw the homeopath, and immediately she subscribed
Antibiotics for my daughter. Of course we declined because we knew what
Antibiotics would do to our daughter down the road.
But now, after researching and trying to find ways to help our daughter heal from eczema symptoms, I think it doesn't hurt to consult a good traditional Chinese herbalist. Of course, the challenge is to find a good one. I am sure there are plenty so-called good herbalist our there, especially in LA or Orange County but I doubt there are more than a handful of really good ones that really know what they are doing. This is my opinion only, but I have known many people who took all of these herbs and got worse. Unfortunately, I don't know many who got better after consulting the herbalist. But that doesn't mean there aren't any good ones out there. Our challenge is, of course, to find a good one who would really looking for a cure instead of perpetuate the income for a while. I am sure some of you will disagree with me, but we have talked to a few herbalists now and believe it or not, most of them have told us to go to the allopathic doctors or they don't do infants. Which is fine, but I still think there are some who can easily heal my daughter because I don't for a second believe in this crap about the so-called incurable disease. Firs of all, it's not a disease, it's an eczema symptoms from inflammation, may it be due to leaky gut syndrome, liver toxic, kidney, or whatever you want to point your finger on, it's definitely not a disease. But of course allopathic doctors would not have a problem labeling it as disease because damn they can make a lot of money "curing a disease".
When your daughter scratches her face 60% to 80% of her waking moment, I would call it serious. Wouldn't you? Especially, if her don't restraint her, then she would scratch herself raw and then we would risk infections and return to ICU again. But we are hopeful that we can either get help from a traditional Chinese herbalist or our current homeopath can help her. I like a Chinese herbalist because it doesn't hurt to balance her body. Right now, I think my daughter's systems are out of balance, she would have cold hands and feet in 80 degrees weather sometimes. She would vomit breastmilk and not really eating any solids. She is 7-month old now and about to be 8-month old next week. So I would call her current conditions serious.
I am sure it'll be a challenge to find a really good traditional Chinese herbalist, but I am sure he/she is out there. I was hoping some of your folks may have had the fortune to know these great healers. Hope is what it's all about. But one thing for sure, I never let those allopathic doctors touch my daughter again for the rest of my life if I can help it.
