Re: The Enigmatic "Bhagwan," Osho Rajneesh
There is an old saying, "Practise what you preach", and in the case of osho, many other christian gurus, and others, there is a glaring discrepency between what they preach and what they practice. In most cases it is not about trying to get out a message that will benefit human kind, it is about money, power and self promotion.
L. Ron Hubbard (Founder of Scientology) once said "Writing for a penny a word is ridiculous. If a man really wanted to make a million dollars, the best way would be to start his own religion."
This is exactly what L. Ron Hubbard did, and this is what osho did, using the teachings of other beliefs and mixing them up to form his own brand of belief. The christian gurus also use the cult of personality to gain wealth and power for themselves, and osho did the same.
After oshos death his followers continue the business.
