If you go without Sugar and salt in your diet and only eat healthy for about 30 days, your tastes should adjust and you will actually taste food. A lot of the crap junk, fast food, etc we have in our diets today would taste awful without those additives. The body and taste buds get use to them.
I definitely agree though, anyone fasting to loss weight, should learn how to eat healthy afterward. Not doing so, makes the fast a complete waste of time. Might actually end up hurting, with the return to a crap diet, they could just gain more weight then lost.
