Re: John Michael Talbot--Jesus is Lord

I think there are many great denominational churches. The Lord can raise up a man/woman of God and place them where He wants to.

Also, once we are following God, and understand His Word and his purpose for our lives, there comes a time when our reason for going to church is mainly to serve. It isn't to only be fed. There are so many people with needs in every church.

God's ways are higher than our ways. He does say "Forsake not the assembling of yourselves" Christians are not lone rangers. They may be alone for periods of reflection if God directs. But, mainly we are to worship together, and serve one another and the people in our commnity, and support those whom God has chosen as missionaries across the world. The Body has many parts, does one part say to another "I am more important than you?(paraphrase) No, the body needs all its parts to function.
I know you already know this refreshed, but I say it so those still weak in their faith will understand that all of us on this forum do indeed know God, and we have no idea what things each other are doing as instruments in God's hands. So, none shold presume that they are superior, or elevate themselves above anyone else.

I' am sure that your church is part of the living body of Christ and that you are a faithful servant there.
