Re: John Michael Talbot--Jesus is Lord

Lol, I loved the song too, I understand your thought on wanting to make known you had different beliefs (not that there is anything wrong with being Catholic--you just aren't.)

I have a similar story when looking through videos to post.
There's a well known group called Phillips, Craig and Dean. When I lived in a city that had an awesome Christian music station I became familiar with all of the groups.

So, I found out that Shawn Craig pastors a church just around the corner from where we live. We visited once and it was great to hear him preach and sing. I knew all the words!

Well, I was going to post a song and I wanted to find out his first name because I forgot. So, I googled the group and looked at all the links that popped up. Every one was saying that they didn't believe in the Trinity! Huh?? How could that be? I didn't remember noticing that in his sermon. He talked about Jesus (didn't he, or was I crazy).
Anyway, there was no statement on "we believe" on their web site. I still don't know for sure. But, when the doctrinal difference is so far from our beliefs, we just want to make it clear that we don't share their beliefs. Since posting these is a part of our testimony of the Lord, it seems important. I will find one of their songs I like and post it. Like your choice, no doctrinal differences are in the words.

I was listening to a song Hunter posted to Trust2009 (I'm not picking on you Hunter(: Because of the context of where it was posted I thought it was a love song to Jesus--until the guy sang "I can't wait til my lips are touching yours", lol That's okay, I am a suc*** for human to human romance too--just caught me off guard.

PS again with the asterisks, suc*** is a flagged word??
