I saw that 10 days of Diloxanide Furoate wiped out crypto in an Aids patient - wiped it out definitely. (Aids patients have to go weeks or months on Paromycin or Nitazoxanide to control crypto and when they stop, diarrhea starts again in little time). So that means the recurrence problem is due to the oocysts, naturally.

I just don't want to take another bloody chemical drug - these are so toxic. And then I saw that Diloxanide Furoate is not sold in the US??? Can't figure out why. I've taken it before in Canada, after (or concurrently) amoebiasis treatment.

In any case, the doctor doesn't want me to take anything - they are waiting for my immune system to do the job.
