Re: Vicious cycle...
"I could binge till my stomach starts aching. And I still don't feel any relief after that."
Some say you over-eat because of stress, and some say you do it because of a lack of essential nutrients.
You are describing sympthoms, but what may be the causes?
Physical health:
I could help you with that. I'm surprised no one else has posted passionately with dietary advice already.
I have three essential methods that I improve my own health with: juice fasting, breathing exercises, and meditation.
It doesn't matter if it's a mental blockage or a physical, these three methods in combination can improve the condition quickly. Even if it's something specific that is stressing you out, this can remove all stress if you just dedicate yourself to it.
I think unresolved fear is one root cause of most ailments, especially in your case. Even though I don't know anything at all about you, the combination of sleep-disorder and over-eating tells me that it might simply be that you have not taken the time to let your mind relax, and let go.
A very simple way of getting just a little more peace into your life is to not watch TV or do anything while eating!
Even while preparing your food, you should only focus at that, and be in the moment.
And while you are eating focus only on chewing the food, tasting it and smelling it. Be emerced in this experience!
Just doing this everytime you eat may bring calm to the rest of your day!
And go buy yourself some unfiltered, unheated apple cider vinegar! It can do wonders if you drink it with your food! (or anytime at all too).
And keep away from refined
Sugar and anything with too much simple sugars, and eat more dark green salad.
Slowly you can increase the positive qualities in your mind, and eliminate the negative, and soon you will be back on track!
But all I can give you is generic support. I would like to know what your current diet is.
