i looked this over and it has some really good info in it and some stuff i cant personally verify but sounds right insofar as i cant disprove it and it fits.

the magnascent statement is another case. it does qualify the statement but makes it nonetheless. it appears, in this case, to be an honest mistake. i see no reason to change anything as the replies have covered all the bases, i think.
