Re: Hormones
"I think the psychological distress caused by our cultural view of aging, far outweighs the actual distress caused by any symptoms of menopause. In cultures where menopause is accepted as a natural stage in a womans life, there is far less distress and physical symptoms for the women going through this transition, there are even cultures where this transition is celebrated as women are freed from the burden of childbearing, and can look forward to a better future"
Hmm. Not being raised in another culture, I cannot speak to how other women feel about this "natural progression". I suggest that women who feel as though aging is an eventual determination of Life on Earth, may be aligned with a rather untoward declaration of "how life on Earth IS". I'm not comfortable with this aging thing - because I remember what it feels like to experience life from a juicy point of view.
Nope...I want it all. The wisdom of living life, a youthful and agreeable body and mind and alignment with Source as opposed to the collective determination that we all experience physical/mental decrepitude as we continue to traverse around our Sun.
Perhaps (or not) I may change my mind, but for today, that's my positing.
