My dentist has seen swollen gums on me once in the past, nothing horrible. This was because i over flossed right before I went there. My cheilitis is noted in my record & they mention it everytime I go to the dentist, every 6 months. They dont seem to have any experience with it. Only the kind with peeling of the corners of mouth.
They say my oral hygene is great & to keep up with it.They gave me a new toothbrush, floss & some chapstick.
