Spiritual Teddy Bears

Nice sidestep. But it is pointlessly and aimlessly being applied to the topic.

If you "need" jesus as a spiritual teddy bear icon to make you feel better and empowered I understand. Some still need these crutches.

Many children enjoy teddy bears. Bit at some point they must become responsible and lay down their projected selves in stuffed form and become whole and not divided up while projecting the division onto things outside themselves.

These teddy bears morph into all kinds of things and can follow people well into their adulthood. Cults play off this lack of self esteem. So do advertisers. Same game being played as they tap into the same psychological dis ease.

Someday the training wheels will come off. When people are ready. Until then they can use their book hero's or other forms of adult teddy bears, to feel better.

At some point though, the yearning for personal empowerment will take over the neediness and a new level of expansion will unfold, way beyond the cults people have accepted as their teddy bear.
