You can get tested for this. (heavy metals) Have you done that yet??
The nutritionist at my health food store told me he had problems with heavy metals. He got rid of all the fillings in his mouth, and he "chelates" himself with certain things, don't know what they are, but now he is tested again every year and so far, everything is fine.
