Aha - Dh's excellent bowel-moving recipe...

I think the entire blockage moved today...painlessly.

Early this a.m. it still hurt somewhat, then subsided as I sat upright in my chair...just as it has, daily, for at least the past week.

Two days of the recipe in a row, and today, major movement!

I'm not certain a major gallstone has moved (because I couldn't feel it) but there has been some gurgling in the large intestine...perhaps I'll know tomorrow.

Small feelings in the back of the lower liver, etc., tell me this is the 'beginning of the end'...no more liver/gallbladder congestion...thank goodness!

Now I don't mind admitting that I have been scared spitless at times during this process. But...when you've had a stroke, and had nurses and doctors 'warn' you of all the things that could happen...well, I just figured I had to keep going straight ahead according to my best thinking, and, if my body coudn't take it, at least I gave it my best try.

I am finding I can take far more than I had thought...especially my kidneys. I love my kidneys and adrenals...and everything else. ...Bless them...and bless dh.

It is wonderful to fall in love, again, at age 71.

I'll let you know if anything else major happens.
