Fecal transplant is becoming important treatment for reoccurring cdiff infections. From what i have seen on cdiff boards, important note , they are not using fecal donors form babies or children due to not having developed immune system. Also before they do the transplant they are put on very high doses of Antibiotics to wipe the guts clean of flora as much as possible, then do the transplant which are done from top (upper endoscopically) or bottom (colonoscopically), "from top" being more effective. So doing this at home ,I don't know about that idea....
