Re: Removing amalgam fillings

What I'm thinking of doing is getting them all out as soon as I can, but not do any detoxing. From what I've read in Cutler's book, I will notice a significant reduction in blood mercury over the first 3-4 months post removal, then it will rise again as mercury leaches out of the organs.

I plan to do a strong antifungal program in the first 6 months of 2010. Lowering my blood mercury levels during this time should help my immune system clean up what the antifungals don't get. I think it will give me my best chance of remission/cure.

If I do a mercury detox at the same time as I am on strong antifungals, I think this will actually lower my immunity, as well as add detox symptoms to my die-off and existing depression. Not sure I could handle it all, and don't think I could kill the yeast as effectively.

So the plan is to get the fillings out ASAP, then detox in the second half of 2010, hopefully when my yeast is well under control. I may not need to detox at all. As I explained in an earlier post, I don't appear to have mercury poisoning. I may have a candida/mercury problem though.

I have read about people having a very quick improvement in candida after Amalgam removal. This supports Cutler's view that blood mercury drops fairly quickly, and maybe it is the blood mercury that is important with regards candida. Or perhaps it is mercury that travels from the mouth to the intestines via the GI tract, which would certainly explain the quick improvement.

In summary. I don't think I have mercury poisoning and don't expect much benefit from removal of my fillings other than helping my candida fungal overgrowth. But that alone makes it worth doing. Candida has virtually crippled my quality of life.
