Willowly and Unyquity.. Re: Quick addition...Re: I'm not immune to the burn :-) /edited
Thank you Uny :-),
I don't mind at all, of course- I'm glad you did. This is all a search for truth :-).
I thank you for telling me about your sample availability too, and I will do it, although you must buy your glass by the pallet in order to be able to do it :-).
Dr. Christopher used African Pepper (Capsicum Minimum), but that is a long pointy fruit, not African *Bird* Pepper, and I'm glad you didn't burn your eyes out finding it out; Although there's probably some Fakir somewhere that makes a living throwing it into their eyes like that (famous) lecturing student of Dr. Christopher's did.
According to my information, Dr. Christopher also used Capsicum Fastigiatum, also called Guinea Pepper or (predictably, one of many referred to as:) Chili Pepper.
Ha ha. I'll bet if he could have got the African Birds he'd have found a way to use 'em, though, lol.
Unyquity you, my Dear, have built up quite a happy following, and I am very glad that someone else with herbal integrity is also producing Dr. Christopher's formulas.
I hope you keep on keeping on Unyquity, you're doing a lot of good :-), and so is Willowly :-).
So, Willowly, here's a question- you made the pepper tincture out of fresh peppers, am I understanding you correctly ? (Hmm, I would have thought the oil component of fresh peppers would be problematic). But maybe it's not, so I'm asking.
(This is the person who has read in a hundred cookbooks, "Do not rub your eyes after handling the peppers in this recipe")
And Uny, you are using dried peppers to make your tinctures, are you not? And are you using Vodka as a solvent like me, or something else?
I'm just comparing notes here, trying to get an idea of what has worked for whom...
Thanks to both of you, Willowly and Uny, for your valuable experience and input :-).
I'm so glad you're both out there.
Good Health to All of Us,
Ladylove
