Re: Cat with Skin Problem - Iodine?

I will definitely check on the Iodine forum about it for sure. I have some Lugols already at home. I remember in the past putting a drop or two in her water, and I noticed she did not like the water very much. She already doesn't drink much. I've started recently putting a water dish in the front bedroom where she likes to hang out while I'm at work -- there's a bed pushed up against the window at the front of the house, so she lays on the bed, looks out the window, and "guards" the house from the neighborhood cats and UPS man.

Anyhow, it has helped to get her to drink more water by doing this. Hopefully the Iodine won't slow it down again. When I put Colloidal Silver in her water before, she absolutely loved it, but she started itching really badly and I stopped. She has some crazy allergy issues, which I'm guessing stems from her immune system.

I feed her pretty much just meat and vegetables. She gets a little bit of Nature's Variety dry kibble during the day. She likes to spend the morning outside while I'm getting ready for work and doesn't like to eat until I'm gone. She wouldn't eat the grain free varieties I tried but loves their "Prairie" version. For dinner she gets just meat and veggies. As a matter of fact, recently she's been enjoying some deer meat that a friend gave me. I can't bring myself to eat it, but she absolutely loves it.
