Re: Excellent info on bromide

A good read Wombat. Do you know if new couches have bromide in the material? I'm assuming that bromide is a fire retardant, thus, would be included in new furniture. Is there a simple or cheap test to find out bromide content in material? If not, then what is the alternative? Use a cover on a couch for example to avoid excess exposure?
