Re: Overwhelming the immune system, could it be you ???
You're right, it's not good to over-do anything.
The dosages of the Barefoot dewormer should be varied. I took it at 2 bottles a month for 3 months. I was up and down with it all thru this journey because I know the eggs do hatch and the new parasites have to be killed off. My innate senses seemed to tell me when I should take more. I've dumped parasites for a year and a half and now don't see any more. I've been at this for 2 years, was heavily infested when I started but see no idication of being "addicted" to Barefoot's dewormer. I sometimes forget to take the maintenance dosage and have to remind myself. The body let me know when I should back off or add a little more of the dewormers. It does take a long time to get all the parasites for those who have been infested for a long time. No, you're not going to get them all at once. This IS a process, and patience is imperative. The body can only handle so many toxins at once. My suggestion is to keep the Herx reactions to where you can handle them. In other words, back off some of the dewormer if it gets too much. Doc has said the same thing in another post you'll find on this forum.
The realization some do have lots of parasites and the physiological and psychological reaction they have to killing them off and the origin of those reactions might not always be be able to be immediately determined. Toxins can cause some bad reactions, and some have an enormous psycological reaction to all this. There's a lot to understand about killing off parasites. I'd be safe and just back off the amount of dewormers to where I could handle things. Not very explicit, but I haven't seen anything unsafe in doing the reasonable amount of dewormers. You can always add hot water to the dosage and evaporate the alcohol. I'm not sure if that also kills off some of the good properties of the herbs or not.
I had parasites when I was 5 years old that didn't get eradicated completely. When you consider I had 60 years to accumulate all I did, taking 2 years to get things cleaned up isn't bad at all. Now I have the heavy metal detox to go thru, as that's at the end of what we do to get cleaned up.
IMO, you are not looking at why some of the people on here have been taking so long. It's because of being exposed over the period of a lifetime to heavy metals, lots of chemical poisons and have had a darn hard time getting rid of all the parasites and candida. That doesn't mean we haven't done it. What it does mean is that if you're at death's door when you start this program, be prepared to work and have it take some time. That's what Doc has alluded to in one of his videos about what seems to be the drawbacks of natural healing. It's the detox phenomenon and the time this takes that's the difficult thing to do.
A lot of highly educated, smart people can't spell. I know that Barefoot has a knack for what he does, that he's about the best herbalist on the planet. Is it good to be able to do everything in a mediocre fashion, or do one thing and be the best in your field? I think it's wonderful we have the best here on this forum. Doc's program brings the terminal people back. We do not do the program like he did it when he was finding out the best way to do things. That must have been a very trying and painful procedure for him. We have the benefit of all the work he did so we can just do it and it won't take us as long as it did him. Where else can you find a program that will do that and have it be as simple and easy to follow as this one is? There are many other things to be considered that you have to do along with it like the nutritional part of it and also at getting all the viruses and bacteria, getting rid of candida and heavy metals, types of exercise and so on, but this IS "The Basics".
I don't know what it would be like to do it any other way. Different dewormers get different parasites, perhaps. At least rotating dewormers surprises parasites. This program was simple to follow in the beginning and made a lot of sense. I can only say this program saved my life. I had to have PATIENCE. No, you're not going to get this all done faster by taking an unreasonable amount of dewormers at one time. If you're not taking ENOUGH and the dewormers are not strong enough, then you're not going to get them successfully, either. When you decide it's time to do another liver flush, the junk has to be ready to come out, too.
"Trendy" for ingredients that we use to kill off the parasites with goes way back to biblical times. Couple of thousand years ago. Clove, fig, wormwood, olive oil, olive leaf and lots and lots of the essential oils. You can research that. It's just that we do have some people who know how to prepare this in an effective way again in our modern age.
I used Barefoot products and that's the other part that saved my life, IMO. I've heard Doc's comments many times about Barefoot products. It's all good. He just didn't have them when he was putting this program together.
