Best taken separately, but there is some evidence (Italy) that if taken internally it will defeat tumors and candida. Defeating tumors and candida may be long term effects of the alkaline drink anyway, but some people don't have forever to wait for a process. In fact some terminal cases have been brought back to live pretty longs, productive lives because of bicarb. Some of those people needed injections of it, even directly into the tumors though.
