bicarb soda

Hi all - I have been using a level teaspoon of bicarb soda in my 800ml Moreless drink, but have just been advised that there is a more recent Pdf version 2 recipe around which does not include bicarb soda - is the version 2 recipe authentic Moreless, and is there good reason for leaving the bicarb soda out? perhaps I am using obsolete and/or incorrect information - best regards - Broh Tweet
