I bought the Natalie Rose book and have already tried a few recipes (which were really good!). I was at a complete loss on what to eat before so I really appreciate the suggestion. I had always been told cooked foods were easier to digest because they're broken down more. A couple weeks ago it finally clicked that raw foods have the enzymes that help your digestion processes. I used to feel tired after eating meat and dairy. I just feel better after eating this kind of food. :)

I should mention that quite a few of the recipes contain shoyu which gave me intestinal issues. I think that free flowing glutamate (MSG) may be a byproduct of making shoyu.
