Lactopriv-b as enema 1 scoop 3 times a week. (the purpose of this enema is to implant the bifidus bacteria into the colon quickly in order to prevent a relapse of candida)
(before doing the lactopriv-b enema, first attempt to make a normal bowel movement. Then do a plain water enema. Follow this with the lactopriv-b enema. Try to retain the enema as long as possible before releasing water)
How to Take an Enema (THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THE PHASE 2 ADVANCED FLORA PROGRAM)
What follows are the basic steps for giving oneself an enema The basic steps:
1. Before filling your bag, make sure that the hose clamp is securely clamped closed and slid to a section of the hose that is within your reach when the bag is hung and you are lying down.
2. Find a comfortable place to lie on your back (not the only position, but the most common) where you can hang your bag at least 18" above your body. Many people like the bathroom floor padded by towels so that if they happen to leak a bit of water it is easy to clean up and they can be close to the toilet.
3. Set things up so that you are comfortable and you won't be interrupted. Your goal is to relax and let the water sooth and cleans your colon. Take your time. This is very important.
4. Lubricate the tip with a non-petroleum lubricant. (We have found that many people get better results when they use the "doosh-tip") Gently insert the tip into your rectum 3-5
inches. It should slide in without any discomfort. Never force anything into your rectum.
5. Open hose clamp and allow a small amount of water to enter your lower colon. Wait . . . Allow your rectum and lower colon to adjust to this water before adding more. The slower that you add water the easier it will be to hold it in, to add more and to cleanse higher into the colon.
6. Massaging your abdomen with small circular motions from the lower left, up to about the level of your umbilicus (bellybutton), across to the right side and down to the lower right corner of your abdomen, will assist water to move farther into your colon. You can massage in the reverse direction to promote elimination.
7. Many people get better results by repeating the above procedure two or more times. The most important thing is to be patient and pleased with yourself. Like everything in life, it gets easier with practice.
