Re: Probable pilonidal cyst

yes i will have an appointment with a doctor, i didnt get to bed until very late last night worrying about this,
i am almost definite that this is what i have
and i have been researching it for a few hours, it seems that without surgery there is little chance of it healing, or if it does it is very likely to recurr
after watching videos and seeing images of the surgery and the healing process, i must say i am horrified
there seems to always be a huge gaping hole after they cut out the cyst, this hole is an open wound you can often even see the tailbone through it, in alot of the cases it took around 7 months to heal.
i am very worried about this whole process and there seems to be no alternative.
thank you for taking me seriously, figuring out what it could be and not criticising me for my paranoia about parasites :)
