Re: anyone tried mms for acne?
Thank you Tom and Julie for your helpful posts
Tom, after reading all the info in your post I still have a "few" questions to ask:
if chlorine dioxide has no PH does it mean that the PH of the solution activated with
citric acid would be 2-3 regarless of the strengh of the sodium chlorite? and if this is true what would be the PH of the solution activated with HCL?
You said: The more acid you add, the lower the PH of the solution drops, and more of the available chlorine dioxide is released as free chlorine dioxide in solution.
You said: Sodium chlorite solutions have a certain amount of chlorine dioxide available to them. The amount is related to its concentration. You activate according to your needs
Does this mean the amount of the 10%
citric acid solution influences the strengh of the chlorine dioxide? ie.the more
citric acid solution in the solution the stronger the chlorine dioxide in it? or is it that the strengh of the sodium chlorite determines the strengh of the solution? Sorry I am a bit confused about this two statements.
In your opinion do you think that 5% solution of sodium chlorite apart from being safer (which is good) would it be strong enough to deal with the very resistant
Acne bacteria?
When you say 5% dilution of the sodium chlorite do you mean dilute it with water before activation? also how long does this 5% solution keep without being activated as I know that after activation you need to use up the chlorine dioxide within 3 days is this true?
You said: If you need to only release a small amount of the available chlorine dioxide, and want some left for a timed release of chlorine dioxide, you use something like citric acid. This forms chlorous acid which breaks down, releasing chlorine dioxide in the process.
Would it be a bad thing to have this effect on the skin? because that way one makes sure that bacteria is not allowed to grow between applications? I would like him to only apply it max twice per day or perhaps only once. Is there any side effects or detremental effects to health by having this slow release effect? If you use HCL all the chlorine dioxide will be released at once and will break down whithin an hour as I understand leaving no protection against bacteria until next application Is this correct?
Or can I use as you say only sodium chlorite diluted in water and allow the sweat activate solution as needed?
Where do you buy HCL from and does it come in liquid form and do I have to dilute it as well?
You talk about no damage inflicted on the skin by using the solution in the 100-150 PPM chlorine dioxide but short term, what do you consider short term?
Sorry about all the questions I need to understand all of the implications really well, I feel rather guilty to have exposed my son to a very strong dilution without having done more research prior to him applying
Miracle-Mineral-Supplement . I appreciate your time and effort in posting so much information, I am trying to take it all in.
