I just like them to be nice and clean before I put on my Epiceram. Plus it exfoliates em slightly if there is anything that wants to come off, so nothing builds up.

After a meal my lips look perfect. After licking and smacking and everything. Thats when they look their best really, because the action of eating and licking now does the job of cleaning the lips instead of messing up that crusty skin =)

I used to cut up my food so it didn't touch my lips. I also used to drink everything with a straw. I don't do that anymore. I use my lips like they are meant to be used and lick em clean! Haha!
