Re: Thanks for great answers, but NOT candida or "allergy"
Wow, glad that you were able to figure out the problem. Hopefully things work out for you now that you're consuming only whole foods.
I cannot emphasize eating whole foods only enough to people who have Candida (or for anyone really). That means, not eating anything that comes out of a box, can, carton, bottle from the store, etc. Go to your local butcher, eat organic vegetation, find farm fresh eggs (with orange yolks), etc. Ideally raw milk, raw cheese.
So the problem was your crappy protein powder shakes. This is why I tell people not to drink these if possible. And hydrolyzed soy protein in hot dogs.
The slow cooker problem is good to know. Bone broth... I'll have to check that out more, I was about to include it in my "occasional cooked foods I eat" list (I eat 90% raw foods now), but maybe not. How long can you cook the bone broth before it spews MSG?
Also, just to get this straight, you used an
Elimination Diet and started introducing foods into your diet and tracked the consequences? So you figured it out yourself? If so, nice work.
