I speak from experience working with mechanical engineers who often said they would work for the fun of it.

My last boss gave up a job working as a DJ so he could get a position working at the Livermore lab doing scientific experiments.

Its people who only see value in money who lack motivation when they dont see an immediate return on their efforts.

YOu think they are diving for clams, they are diving for love.

Like I said the predatory mind sees things different than the altruistic mind.

Obviously you worship money. To think that unless a person is allowed to keep a billion dollars they wont get out of bed and accomplish something is seriously disturbed from my point of view. Yet half the population would agree with you.

And that is why we are in the trouble we are in. Total Greed and the worship of money,which leads to slavery and war.

Fact of the matter is CEOs in Japan make 500k a year and Japan is one of the top economies in the world. US ceos get 1/4 billion to not show up(homedepot). Whos winning?
