Re: Soil based organisms and the maker's diet?

Several years ago, when his stuff first came out, I went on his primal defense. I was dealing with what was diagnosed as IBS but I really think it was gall bladder. Anyway, I went on the Primal defense 6 tablets 3 times a day for 3 months. It did help and I haven't had any more pain or spasms. However, the stuff I used is not the same stuff now. A few strains have been removed. Swansons vitamins makes a HOS probiotic that has ALL of them. So that would be a better choice and it's way less money. You can go to their site and compare their ingredients with Jordan's new Primal Defense.

One of the strains removed was the strep one. He got a lot of heat in the nutritional circles about including those types of bacteria. The feeling that it could potentially harm someone. I dunno how true that is. I took his stuff -- a lot of it -- for 3 months and I am ok. Anyway, Swanson vitamins has seen fit to keep it in their product.

I don't know if the reformulated Primal Defense is as potent or effective as the original.

Oh, and I read his Maker Diet book. It seems like for EVERY CONDITION/ILLNESS it's the same DIET. That for me set off some red flags. The book just didn't seem credible to me after that.
