Re: Looking for answers

Although it was just recently approved for heavy bleeding, that was the reason mine was inserted about 7 years ago when I was in my forties. I think I was a nothing more than a lab rat to them. I would never recommend this device to anyone. It stopped the bleeding but was not worth the years of side effects and pain. I had an autoimmune response (probably from the silicone)that damamged my thyroid and I'm now on meds for the rest of my life. I have suffered terrible migrating bone, joint, and muscle pain and more. I could go on and on but I wish I had opted for an ablation or even taken my chances with a hysterectomy. Whatever your decision, research thoroughly first.
