Your result is not negative (as Negative: < 3 U/ml) nor positive (as Positive: >5.5 U/ml and) just borderline (as Borderline: 3-5.5 U/ml). If the test is really accurate, borderline would involve a treatment, if it is not too accurate, it would call for another test before you get the treatment, ask your doctor and show him the results.
